Vision-e’s development team released new eContacts features that increase the efficiency the app’s user interface, saving both SMB and enterprise businesses time scanning business cards into Salesforce
Vision-e recently released new features to eContacts, a mobile Apple iOS and Android app that use Optical Character Recognition technology to scan business cards and turn them into leads and contacts. Now, users save more time uploading cards to a CRM with updates to the eContacts user interface.
The technical engineering team at Vision-e developed a more efficient user interface, eliminating two prior steps users took before a business card could be uploaded to Salesforce. Now, after a user takes a picture of the card, it automatically sends to Salesforce, no additional clicks needed.
Through customer trials, Vision-e has found that with it’s OCR intelligently gathering data from business cards and inputting it to Salesforce fields takes an average of 15 seconds – enabling the user to quickly gather data and contact leads faster than manually inputting a lead into the system.
