Muzaffarnagar Municipal Council chairperson, Anju Agarwal has been known for her enthusiastic involvement in an array of cleanliness drives throughout the city. The chairperson is known for her warm relationship with people from every social and religious background.
The city has a significant percentage of Muslims living in different localities. Eid-ul-Adha is one of the most important festivals for the community. On the eve of the special occasion, the municipality chairperson Anju Agarwal inspected the Eidgah (the place for the annual prayer of Eid) along with a team of officials. She inspected everything related to cleanliness very closely & instructed the officers to solve all the issues encountered during the visit.
The chairperson directed the city health officer present during the inspection to fix the problem of cleanliness immediately. She specifically instructed the officer, Mr. Vinay Kumar Tripathi, to provide safe drinking water, and proper lighting arrangements during the upcoming festivals, Raksha Bandhan, Independence Day and Janmashtami.
Shahi Imam of Eidgah, Maulana Zakir asked the chairperson to get the pile of waste removed which was present in front of the Eidgah. Further, he discussed all the cleanliness related problems with her. The chairperson heard all the concerns carefully and assured everyone of quick solutions. She assured that every complaint will be heard and resolved as soon as possible.
