Muzaffarnagar Municipal Council chairperson, Anju Agarwal has recently inaugurated a reboring project in ward number 10, Muzaffarnagar. This is part of her far-reaching efforts to ensure easy access to water supply throughout the city.
Some areas in the city, like ward number 10, has long been struggling with water scarcity. Anju Agarwal took up this problem as one of her administrative priorities. The city's water supply problem has dramatically improved recently. Many areas now get seamless water supply.
In her address at the inauguration of reboring, Anju Agarwal said that residents in the area will get a big relief after the reboring is completed.
She added that demand for this work has long been made by the residents and that demand has been met with the inauguration. She also assured that soon Muzaffarnagar will be completely free from water supply issues.
Water supply is closely linked with the environment. If we don't protect the environment from looming threats natural resources like water will soon vanish. Environmental protection, therefore, remains at the top of Anju Agarwal's agenda.
After inaugurating the reboring work, she participated in a plantation drive. The big plantation drive aims to improve the city's environment by expanding greenery. A team of district administration officials and municipal counselors accompanied Anju Agarwal during these activities.
