Stott + Hoare was established in 1915 as an office products and stationery supplier.
As office technology evolved from typewriters and ledger machines to computers and data storage systems, Stott + Hoare grew substantially as it also evolved with a changing world.
In 1982, Stott + Hoare became an inaugural IBM Personal Computer Dealer.
Relationships with Microsoft and other leading manufacturers including HP soon developed, and by the late 1980s the company was selling and supporting thousands of PCs, network servers and disk storage systems for clients ranged from large corporations and government departments with thousands of employees to small and medium size businesses requiring complete IT solutions.
