Coast2Coast Tour de Keller kicks off July 30th.
July 30 marks the beginning of an epic journey for 11 Keller Australia riders. Together they will trade in the foundations and ground engineering industry to put their legs to work for charity.
Keller Australia’s annual Coast2Coast challenges raised over $400,00 across 2013 and 2014, and this year the team of 11 riders and one support person have an ambitious aim to raise over $250,000.
"We particularly want to help charities that don't get government funding so the money would mean more to them."
MARK KLINER - CHIEF EXECUTIVE KELLER AUSTRALIA
Embarking on a new challenge, this year's team will swap motorbikes for bicycles. Leaving from Canberra the team will ride south to Batemans bay on the coastline, before crossing over the ACT border and looping their way back up inland to Baulkham Hills, near Sydney. Travelling nearly 600km and climbing over 7,158m the mornings will be cold and the muscles sore.
Harbour IT along with other industry sponsors wish the team well and will follow the cyclists throughout their journey.
“We are proud to support this great initiative and say a big thanks to those who are lending their cycle power to help the charities improve the lives of countless individuals who need a hand.”
Steve Evans, Harbour IT Victorian Manager
The charities that Coast 2 Coast supports are Red Frogs, the Indigenous literacy Foundation, Christ Mission Possible, Autism Awareness, the Wesley Mission and Marist Youth Care
