Microsoft working with Indian Government to link Skype and Aadhar database

Global software firm and Technology giant Microsoft announced that it is working actively with the Indian government to leverage the Skype’s extensive video calling services so that Aadhar database can be simply used to make authenticated calls along with government institutions and others. According to Brad Smith, President and Chief Legal Officer, Microsoft Corporation – they are very excited and enthusiastic to embrace the universal ID system.

He added that - We have been doing work, initially on a trial basis, to use this ground-breaking technology and integrate it easily with Skype Make an Inquiry about this news. In a recent interview - Bhaskar Pramanik, Microsoft, India chairman said that the company was also offering security consulting services to organisation with critical infrastructure including power plants and defence.
