HTC Desire 650 seems to have come up with something unique with its dual-finish back, that provides a firmer grip whilst making a fashion statement as well.

But what else is under the sleeve of the Desire 650? Well here you go:

  • 5-inch HD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 720 x 1280 pixels or ~294 ppi pixel density
  • Snapdragon chipset with Quad-core processor
  • 13MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, 28mm focal length, autofocus, BSI and LED flash
  • 5MP secondary camera with f/2.8 aperture, 34mm focal length and BSI
  • 32GB internal storage + microSD expansion slot up to 256GB maximum
  • Android Marshmallow 6.0
  • HTC BoomSound™ audio
  • Non-removable Li-Ion 2200 mAh battery
  • Dual-sim and 4G LTE

It seems like the Desire 650 still have some questions marks hanging over it, like what chipset that it will be using, what kind of speed will the Quad-core processor will be; and the ultimate question of all – how much will it cost to own one?

But if there’s one thing that will highlight the Desire 650 over other smartphones is the splendid look and feel that it will have. It sports a really unique appearance especially on the back of the smartphone with 50% smooth arc on top and the bottom half with rubberized edges for a smoother grip overall.

Camera-wise, you will find a 13MP-5MP camera on the Desire 650 which should allow for some good photos. The 5MP selfie camera is equipped with a timer and can also be controlled with voice, that makes it so much convenient to take a selfie shot.

One final highlight of the Desire 650 is on the audio side of things with BoomSound audio. Prepare your ears for a pleasing audio experience.

But if there’s one thing that you can find fault is on it’s rather weak 2200 mAh battery. Don’t think it can survive more than just a day’s usage. Even then, if you are a heavy user; just get yourself a power bank to have on standby.

Conclusion:

Great looks, firm grip, mid-range performance, 13MP-5MP camera and great audio is what you can expect out of the HTC Desire 650. But a weak battery lets it down a bit. Finally, it will all boil down to the price of this smartphone which is still unknown at this point of time.

HTC Desire 650 is expected to be released sometime in December 2016 although there’s no official word on the pricing just yet. It is said to be available in Dark Blue and White colour.
