Let’s kick things off with its appearance, and the Pro 6 Plus sure looks good. It has an exquisite micro-arc design and a redesigned body curve.

The attention to detail can be seen with its unique CD line camera, ring flash and minimalistic antenna design. The new AOD (Always-On Display) feature enables you to check the time, date and battery status easily.

The 3D Touch technology is further improved where it can now preview an app by pressing the button. Linear gravity calibration was also added, so you know there’s some exciting features lined up for you in the near future.

Even the fingerprint technology has been optimized in terms of the fingerprint recognition speed and recognition rate to offer an improved overall accessibility. It can effectively identify the fingerprint in any direction, and being based on Live Finger Detection technology, the fingerprint scanner is more accurate than ever.

Under the hood of the Pro 6 Plus is the Exynos 8 chipset, speedy octa-core processor and 4GB RAM which lets you easily run all of the apps and games out there in the market. Not only that, you will have some spare in the tank to run other things in the background.

Moving on to the camera side of things, the new CD pattern technology allows the camera to take stunning pictures. 4-axis optical image stabilization with ƒ/2.0 large aperture and 6P lens allows Pro 6 Plus to produce brilliant photos at nighttime.

The latest generation high-performance ISP image processor also significantly improves color, sharpness and noise reduction in photos and videos.

Last but not least, the Chinese manufacturer emphasized on the importance of battery life which brings us with a total capacity of 3400mAh. It should be able to last for at least a day or two in between charging.

With a lifetime of over 900 cycles, it is twice the industry’s average of other smartphones.

Meizu Pro 6 Plus is indeed special, and is set to be released by this month. Great 5.7-inch Quad HD screen, impressive looks, improved 3D Touch and Fingerprint sensor technology, great hardware, great camera and great battery makes for an amazing smartphone.

The only missing piece of the puzzle is now on its price. If the Pro 6 is to be an indicator for its price, then Pro 6 Plus should be in the realms of $500 USD onwards.

Meizu Pro 6 Plus is set to be released anytime soon although there has been no official word on the price. It is said to be available in Gold, Silver and Gray.
