The latest collaboration between LeEco and Coolpad will result in the Cool S1 entering the market in January 2017 at the earliest. What makes it a cool flagship? Read on then to find out more.

For those who never heard of the name Coolpad before this, it’s a company hailing from Shenzhen, China. And just like all its other counterparts from China, you can expect great value for money from its devices – with the Cool S1 targeting at the flagship space.

But all might not be well financially for the two companies, though, so expect the Cool S1 to alleviate some of that problems. Here’s to what the smartphone is all about:

Cool S1 practically has everything that you could wish for from a flagship device. From the outside, you can easily see how beautiful the smartphone is with its stylish metal body and 2.5D curved glass giving you all the satisfaction. Then there’s the fingerprint sensor to give you a sense of security and for verification purpose.

Under the hood of the Cool S1 is the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 821 chipset paired with the blazingly fast Kryo quad-core processor and a choice of 4GB or 6GB RAM. Either way, you are guaranteed of a snappy performance out of it. There’s nothing that could possibly slow down this smartphone.

Camera-wise, there’s the 16MP primary camera with the necessary features you would expect out of a decent camera phone. Same goes with its 8MP selfie camera which should be able to take good-looking photos for all your social media needs.

When it comes to storage, the Cool S1 is equipped with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. Choose wisely, though, as there’s no expansion slot available – so you may have to turn to cloud storage sooner or later.

For audio lovers, there are the Harman Kardon speakers fitted on the Cool S1 which lets you indulge on all your audio cravings. Listen to some of the best sounds being produced from this quality smartphone.

With the 4070 mAh battery supplying juice to the Cool S1, you don’t have to worry about it running low on battery for at least a day or two in between charging.
