Fast forward to now, here comes Zuk Edge to the family. Let’s take a closer look at it as per below:

  • 5.5-inch Full HD TDDI with 1080 x 1920 pixels or ~401 ppi pixel density
  • Gorilla Glass protection
  • Fingerprint sensor
  • Heart rate sensor
  • Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 chipset, Quad-core (2x2.35 GHz Kryo & 2x1.6 GHz Kryo) processor, Adreno 530 graphics and 4GB/6GB RAM
  • 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, phase detection autofocus and LED flash
  • 8MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1/4" sensor size and 1.12 µm pixel size
  • 64GB internal storage with no expansion slot
  • Non-removable Li-Ion 3100 mAh battery with Fast battery charging
  • Android Nougat 7.0
  • Dual-sim and 4G LTE
  • January 2017 release date
  • $2299 Chinese Yuan or ~$329 USD for 4GB variant and $2499 Chinese Yuan or ~$359 USD for 6GB RAM variant

From the outset of it, Zuk Edge is sporting a cool TDDI display on its 5.5-inch Full HD screen. Then there’s also the benefit of a fingerprint sensor as well as a heart rate sensor. We don’t normally find the heart rate sensor on most phones out there, so it is indeed a nice addition. To top it all off, a nice Gorilla Glass protection is there to protect your precious investment.

Under the hood of the Zuk Edge is the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 821 chipset paired with a speedy Quad-core Kryo processor, great graphics and a choice of either 4GB or 6GB RAM to go with it. This ensures that users will experience the fastest available hardware on hand.

Moving on to the camera side of things, there’s the 13MP-8MP camera combination which provides for some great photos being taken with the Zuk Edge. There’s enough features and functions on each camera to give it a boost.

Storage-wise, there’s only 64GB of internal storage that you can tap into as the Zuk Edge does not have an expansion slot. Yes, it may seem enough with 64GB; but you may have to do some spring cleaning every now and then.

In terms of battery, you should find the 3100 mAh battery sufficient for a day’s use. Last but not least, once the Zuk Edge is released this month – it should be featuring the latest Android Nougat 7.0 OS right out of the box.
