With more and more manufacturers releasing smartphones equipped with a dual primary camera, here we have Vivo V5 Plus coming out with a dual selfie camera setup. How cool is that?

Being the first in the V5 series, V5 Plus have is said to be the spiritual successor for the V3 Max which was released back in April last year. You may have forgotten all about it, so let’s refresh our memories just a bit:

Actor Ranveer Singh became the company's brand ambassador and was one of the turning point for making Vivo famous in the Asian region. Sporting a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS screen wrapped in a metal body, it has mid-range performance, great 13MP-8MP camera combination, great audio and decent 3000 mAh battery. All this for a reasonable price tag, and no wonder V3 Max became a great hit back then.

Fast forward to today, and almost 9 months have passed. We have new AR technology coming in and dual primary camera setup becoming the norm in 2017.

But V5 Plus is definitely the first to come out with an actual dual selfie camera. Full specs are as per below:

V5 Plus will be sporting a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS screen which promises some nice viewing on its screen. Then we have the fingerprint sensor and Gorilla Glass 5 for protection against mishaps. You may never know when you will need it.

Under the hood of the V5 Plus is something of the mid-range level with the Snapdragon 625 chipset paired with a fast octa-core processor, decent graphics and 4GB RAM. It should be able to run most apps and games out there comfortable enough.

The highlight of the show for the V5 Plus is definitely on its camera department. Yes, you will be able to shoot great photos with its 16MP primary camera – but that isn’t it. It is on the selfie camera, or to be exact dual selfie camera is where you will be having the most fun. With a 20MP+8MP selfie camera combination, you will be taking selfies in the highest details where you never thought it was possible. The amount of details that you will be able to capture will ensure you have lots of fun with this amazing selfie camera smartphone.

Storage-wise, there’s 64GB of internal storage available which you can tap into. But definitely that won’t be enough as you will be snapping away great photos all the time. The V5 Plus has that figured out, hence there’s an expansion slot which you can easily add 256GB of storage.

Vivo V5 Plus sets out to be the best selfie camera in the world, and it will be available very soon. If photography is your passion, and in particular taking selfies – then there’s nothing better in doing so than this smartphone.
