What else can you say about the Blade A2 Plus, other than admiring what great specs that it possesses. With a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS screen, it also has an elegant body that is crafted from aluminium alloy and featuring a premium finish. It also has curved edges to ensure that you have a firm grip on it. The 2.5D curved edge glass display further adds to its sexy appeal.

The fingerprint reader recognises your fingerprint and lets you unlock it in just 0.3 seconds. This feature not only keeps your digital data safe from unauthorised access, but it also comes in handy in many other situations. For instance, it lets you conveniently capture photos and answer calls with just a tap of the finger.

As for the performance side of things, Blade A2 Plus have lots of it available which even makes multitasking a breeze. All this is made possible with its MT6750T chipset, a decently fast octa-core processor, good graphics and 4GB RAM.

Camera-wise, the Blade A2 Plus is sporting a 13MP primary camera with PDAF that helps you capture photos in crisp detail. Meanwhile for the 8MP selfie camera, it makes use of the entire display as a flash; so you can shoot bright and clear selfies and ‘groupfies’ even in low light conditions.

Another innovative feature on this smartphone is the OTG Reverse Charge technology, which can charge other devices in their hour of need.

Finally, you should take note that the Blade A2 Plus is still running on the dated Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS. There’s no confirmation that it will get an update to the latest Nougat 7.0 OS, so you might miss out on the latest features and functions that the latest OS brings to the table.

ZTE Blade A2 Plus is an affordable smartphone with a great body, good performance, good camera and great battery life and functionalities. If you can disregard the fact that it is running on a dated OS, then by all means it is a great smartphone with great value.
