By scanning over its specs, we can safely say that Moto X4 is positioned in the medium-high market space. By offering a cool 5.2-inch Full HD IPS screen, it caters to those who wants something not too big and not too small. Then there’s the IP68 certification which makes the smartphone dust proof and water proof, that ensures you can bring it along on your water adventure without any worries. The fingerprint sensor makes the package complete.

Under the hood of the Moto X4 is powerful enough with the new Snapdragon 630 chipset paired with a very fast octa-core processor, good graphics and an option of either 3GB or 4GB RAM. You can easily run just about everything that is out there in the market.

Camera-wise, here’s where Moto X4 shows its true strength. With a dual 12MP+8MP primary camera on-board, it allows for some great-looking photos being captured with the camera. Here you can also experiment with bokeh effect to good use. Not forgetting the IP68 certification just now, all your underwater shots will look great as well. As for its 16MP selfie camera, do expect it to capture amazing selfies with it.

Moving on now to the storage side of things, there’s plenty to go around with this smartphone. There’s an option for either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, that too can be easily expanded all the way up to 256GB via the expansion slot.

With a 3000 mAh battery powering up the Moto X4, it seems sufficient enough to be able to last it for a whole day of charge.

Last but not least, the latest Android Nougat 7.0 operating system will be available right out of the box. Just like any other previous Motorola smartphones, it should come with a plain vanilla OS that is not bogged down by bloatware. In other words, it is optimized and doesn’t install any extra baggage on it.

Motorola Moto X4 is greatly positioned to fill the void of the mid-high space where it is targeting right now. Everything seems to be just nice about it and is priced just about right as well. Let’s hope for a successful launch on July 25th.

Motorola Moto X4 is expected to be released in Q3 2017 with an estimated price tag of $20,999 Indian Rupee or ~$325 USD price tag. It will only be available in Fine Gold color.
