For starters, the Pulsemix comes with a 5.2-inch IPS screen equipped with just a High Definition resolution. Nothing much to look forward over here, there’s not even a fingerprint sensor as a feature. But somehow there’s the Dragontrail Glass as a protection against any mishaps that might happen.
Under the hood of the Pulsemix is pretty basic with the MT6738 chipset, decent quad-core processor, adequate graphics and just 2GB of memory. With this kind of setup, you can only operate run-of-the-mill apps such as your favourite social media apps, very light gaming and few multitasking at hand.
For those young at heart, you will like the idea of SNAPBAK™ covers. It allows you to mix and match with a selection of entertaining SNAPBAK covers to boost the fun and function of your smartphone. Customize the LightUp SNAPBAK’s animated LED lights for music and video playback, incoming calls and notifications, messages, emails and more. Regarding the camera, there’s only the 8MP-2MP camera setup that is available on the Pulsemix. Very basic stuff over here.
As for storage, the 16GB of internal storage found on the Pulsemix ensures that a decent number of apps can be installed. Luckily, you can easily expand it up to 128GB via the available microSD expansion slot.
A 2800 mAh battery is then available that can easily supply enough power to the Pulsemix for a full day of charge.
The latest Android Nougat 7.0 operating system is available. Providing the Pulsemix with a host of improvements and enhancements that even an entry-level smartphone gets a boost.
Alcatel Pulsemix is an entry-level smartphone, albeit an expensive one at that. There are lots of other smartphones that you can take into consideration.
Alcatel Pulsemix had just been released for a $149 USD price tag if purchased outright, or at $79 USD if bundled together with a plan. There’s only one colour available which is Metal Black.
