Vivo X20: 6-inch screen FullView display with Snapdragon 660, 4GB RAM and dual 12MP+5MP primary camera

All that and more, Vivo X20 will be on sale for just $450 USD.

The Chinese manufacturer is one of the greats when it comes to providing selfie camera experience, but Vivo X20 took a slightly different route.

The numbering system doesn’t quite add up, so we give you a recap of  the last of the X-series, Vivo X9s:

  • 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 1920 pixels or ~401 ppi pixel density
  • Fingerprint sensor
  • Qualcomm MSM8976 Snapdragon 652 chipset, Octa-core (4x1.8 GHz Cortex-A72 & 4x1.2 GHz Cortex A53) processor, Adreno 510 graphics and 4GB RAM

Then comes the jump to its naming straight to X20, and where do things stand for now? Check it out below:

The first thing you will notice about the X20, is its large 6.01-inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen.

Next, there’s the FullView display that has been slowly becoming more mainstream as other manufacturers are joining in the field. This means you get to enjoy more screen real estate. A fingerprint sensor is also included for your biometric needs.

Regarding performance, X20 belongs in the mid-upper range with its Snapdragon 660 chipset, fast Kryo octa-core processor and 4GB RAM. There should be no problem running any apps and games, and running it fast.

With that kind of speedy performance, it lets you fully enjoy the camera aspect. Here’s where you get the great dual 12MP+5MP primary camera. To top it off, the 12MP selfie camera ensures you have a blast at taking selfies as well.

Storage-wise, 64GB of internal storage is more than enough to install all your favorite apps and games. But if you are the kind of person that takes photos in great volume each day, it is very easy to add more space – up to 256GB via the microSD expansion slot.

Finally, the X20 will be running on Android Nougat 7.1.1 which is fine. But whether it will get the update to the latest Oreo 8.0 operating system remains to be seen.

With a large 6.01-inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen with FullView display, mid-upper performance, great dual 12MP+5MP primary camera and large 64GB internal storage.

Vivo X20 was just released last September 30thfor 2,998 Chinese Yuan or ~$450 USD. It is available in Matte Black, Gold and Rose Gold.
