For starters, Zenfone 4 Selfie ZD553KL is only sporting a 5.5-inch IPS screen with High Definition resolution. It does however, comes with a 2.5D curved glass that makes for a beautiful look and feel to it.

Moving on to the hardware side of things, Zenfone 4 Selfie ZD553KL falls somewhere in the medium to low-end range with the available Snapdragon 430 chipset, decent octa-core processor, decent graphics but with 4GB RAM. The combo somehow doesn’t feel right, although you will still benefit from the 4GB RAM.

If there’s one great reason to own the Zenfone 4 Selfie ZD553KL, is on its selfie camera. With a dual 20MP+8MP selfie camera found on the smartphone, you can be sure of capturing only the best selfies. To provide the best selfie experience, the 20MP standard view camera shoots selfies with stunning clarity, and an 8MP wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view. With dual cameras and ASUS SelfieMaster technology, you have the flexibility to include just yourself in the shot, capture yourself with your environment, or gather some friends and have fun shooting wefies. It also comes with Softlight LED flash that delivers the perfect amount of fill light, just like if you were taking photos in a studio. To round it up, the Beauty Mode then lets you perform professional-quality, automatic image retouching and enhancement. Adjustments include complexion softening, skin toning, blemish removal, skin brightening, eye enlargement, and cheek slimming.

Let’s not forget that there’s still the 16MP primary camera for you to play around with, as the PDAF feature is able to get you get the shot you want, every time.

Then there’s the 64GB internal storage for you to store all your stuff, and it should get filled up in a very short time. That’s where you can easily add 256GB via the expansion slot.

Battery-wise, the 3000 mAh battery provides just enough juice for Zenfone 4 Selfie ZD553KL to last for a full day.

Finally, Zenfone 4 Selfie ZD553KL comes with Android Nougat 7.0 operating system which is nice, although there’s a huge doubt if it will be getting an update to the latest Android Oreo 8.0.
