It takes a momentous task to further enhance what the Galaxy S9 is set to be, and we are quite surprised that the Galaxy S9+ will take it to an even greater height.

Starting with the much larger 6.2-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen that makes it so much awesome, there’s the IP68 certification, Infinity display, Always-on display, exquisite metal body, and Gorilla Glass 5 to protect the precious flagship smartphone. It will also be equipped with an iris, fingerprint and heart rate sensor that is fast becoming a standard feature for the S-series.

In terms of performance, Galaxy S9+ is expected to be sporting the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 845 chipset, octa-core processor and an option to go for 6GB RAM.

What’s with all the power if you can’t have fun while you are it right? Galaxy S9+ will mark the first in its lineup to feature a dual 12MP+12MP primary camera setup, making it on par with the rest of the other manufacturers who have released their own version of it.

Storage-wise, you can now opt for 128GB of internal storage which is huge. You can then still add up to a maximum of 256GB via the available microSD expansion slot.

Finally, the latest Android Oreo 8.0 operating system is expected to be available right out of the box. This makes for some serious combination with the best hardware and latest software to give you only the fastest and smoothest smartphone experience.

Conclusion:

Samsung Galaxy S9+ is set to be the ultimate phablet for 2018, provided the price is right. Even then, there’s a whole lot of loyal customers that the South Korean manufacturer has built up over the years. Expect it to be selling to the tunes of millions.

The Samsung Galaxy S9+ is set to be released in April 2018 although there’s no word yet on the pricing. With the Galaxy S9 expected to be priced in the range of $750-$800 USD, it might be closer to $1,000 USD to own this amazing phablet.
