The thing about the Japanese manufacturer is, why did it take so long for them to release the Aquos Zero? That aside, this flagship is written awesome all over it.

Starting with a large 6.2-inch screen size, it is one of the lightest in its class having weighted just 146 grams. When consumer television is beginning to embrace the latest OLED technology, Aquos Zero is one of the first to be sporting a cool OLED screen with an even cooler Quad HD+ resolution. You can be sure of true-to-life colours and the darkest black. Not only that, the IP68 certification and Gorilla Glass 5 protection makes it a very tough smartphone.

In terms of hardware, there’s not much that can be improved further. But still, the Aquos Zero is sporting the latest Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with the fastest Kryo octa-core processor, amazing graphics and 6GB RAM. There’s nothing that this beast can’t run fast enough, and still have some spare left in the tank for more.

Camera-wise, even though there is no dual primary camera like others; the 22.6MP primary camera is said to be very powerful for all your photo-taking needs. With excellent protection, you don’t have to worry about carrying it with you anywhere you go. Then there’s the 8MP selfie camera for all you selfie lovers out there.

For the storage side, the whopping 128GB internal storage is all that you will get. Still big enough to install all your favourite apps and games, even though there’s no expansion slot available.

Featuring great screen experience, the Aquos Zero further complements your viewing pleasure with the great Dolby Atmos sound system. This makes for a serious entertainment smartphone.

Conclusion:

Sharp Aquos Zero is the definitive flagship, provided you have the money to own one. Large 6.2-inch screen with Quad HD+ and the amazing OLED technology, great protection, great hardware, great camera and a great sound system is what you will get from this amazing flagship.

Sharp Aquos Zero had just been released in Japan and selected countries, with a price tag of 19,990 New Taiwanese Dollar or ~649 US Dollar. There’s only one colour available though, which is Meteorite Black.
