Vivo X27: large 6.39-inch with Snapdragon 710, 8GB RAM, triple camera, pop-up 16MP selfie camera and 4000 mAh battery

Want to impress everyone with the latest smartphone that oozes coolness? Then Vivo x27 is what you should be looking out for.

The Chinese manufacturer is all about making a difference, and it started last year with the X21 UD:

  • 6.28-inch Full HD Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 2280 pixels, 19:9 ratio or ~402 ppi density
  • FullView display
  • Fingerprint under-display sensor
  • Qualcomm SDM660 Snapdragon 660 chipset, Octa-core (4x2.2 GHz Kryo 260 & 4x1.8 GHz Kryo 260) processor, Adreno 512 graphics and 6GB RAM
  • Dual 12MP (f/1.8 aperture, 1/2.5", 1.4 µm, Dual Pixel PDAF) + 5MP (f/2.4 aperture), phase detection autofocus and LED flash
  • 12MP secondary camera with f/2.0 aperture
  • 128GB internal storage + microSD expansion slot up to 256GB maximum
  • Non-removable Li-Ion 3200 mAh battery
  • Android Oreo 8.1
  • Dual-sim and 4G LTE
  • March 2018 release date
  • 3,598 Chinese Yuan or ~ USD 569 price tag

They were the first to introduce fingerprint sensor found under the display – as simple as putting your finger on the screen. But that was a long time ago, and now the time has come for a new smartphone to take the crown.

Introducing the X27, and a worthy successor that we have waited for so long:

  • 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio or ~400 ppi density
  • FullView display
  • Fingerprint under-display sensor
  • Qualcomm SDM710 Snapdragon 710 (10 nm) chipset, Octa-core (2x2.2 GHz 360 Gold & 6x1.7 GHz Kryo 360 Silver) processor, Adreno 616 graphics and 8GB RAM
  • Triple primary camera: 48MP with f/1.8 aperture, 1/2", 0.8µm and PDAF + 13MP with 13mm (ultrawide) + 5MP with f/2.4, depth sensor, LED flash, HDR and panorama
  • Motorized pop-up 16MP selfie camera with HDR
  • 256GB internal storage + microSD expansion slot up to 256GB maximum
  • Non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery with Fast battery charging
  • Android Pie 9.0
  • Dual-sim and 4G LTE
  • March 2019 release date
  • 3,598 Chinese Yuan or ~ USD 535 price tag

One year on, and we can see how far the X27 has improved while having the same price tag. Starting with a slightly larger 6.39-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen, you will get the similar frontal fingerprint sensor.

It has become effortless to unlock the screen, thanks to them.

In terms of performance, the X27 jumps further ahead with the Snapdragon 710 chipset paired with a fast Kryo octa-core processor, excellent graphics and a whopping 8GB RAM. You won’t face any issues running any apps and games.

Camera-wise, this is where the fun begins. The X27 sports a triple camera setup with the 48MP+13MP+5MP. This ensures everything you take looks beautiful indeed. Then there’s the 16MP selfie camera that pops out right out of the body, whenever you are taking selfies. A cool feature that makes you stand out from the crowd.

Moving on to the storage side of things, you will be getting a massive 256GB of internal storage which is a pleasant surprise. Should you ever in need of additional space, just pop in a microSD card that can easily add another 256GB to cater to all your needs.

Finally, the X27 comes with a 4000 mAh battery that should have no problem powering up the smartphone for a full day of charge.

Conclusion:

Vivo X27 makes full use of a year of latest trends and technology, so you won’t be left behind. There are so many improvements that were made that provides for great value for money; more so on its triple camera setup, large 256GB internal storage and a large 4000 mAh battery to boot.

Vivo X27 had just been released for 3,598 Chinese Yuan or ~ USD 535 and is available in Blue and Gold colour.
