A glance through the Reno Z specs, and you can already see what a winner it is. Sporting a large 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution provides for great viewing pleasure. Although it is wrapped in plastic, the colours do outshine other smartphones and scores highly on the look and feel department.

To cut costs, surely some things needs to be sacrificed. Here’s where you can find the Reno Z comes with a Helio P90 chipset paired with a speedy octa-core processor, excellent graphics and an option to go for either 6GB or 8GB RAM. But one thing is for sure, and it sure is fast as it can be.

Camera-wise, the Reno Z is blessed with a 48MP+5MP primary combo with all the bells and whistles that you expect out of a mid-range smartphone. It utilises Sony’s IMX 586 sensor with 48 million ultra-clear pixels, which captures all the beautiful details and provides for a magnificent panoramic view of the scenery.

The best part is that the 32MP selfie camera lets you take amazing selfies, which is a great thing to have these days.

In terms of storage, two options are available. Either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, surely there’s enough for everyone over here. Just take note that there is no expansion slot available, which is fine by the way.

Finally, a huge 4035 mAh battery is supplying the necessary juice to power up the Reno Z. This ensures a day or two of battery life which is very convenient.

Conclusion:

Oppo Reno Z has a lot of similarities to that of the Oppo Reno, but the price difference is huge: USD 200 to be exact. Just go for it, if you are looking for a great smartphone camera experience with a mid-range performance to its name.

Oppo Reno Z is expected to be released very soon for 2,499 Chinese Yuan or ~360 USD for the 256GB internal storage + 6GB RAM, as well as for the 128GB internal storage + 8GB RAM variant.
