There seems to be a lot of improvements going on around with the Realme 5. With just 5 months between it and its predecessor, the question of upgrading sure does comes into mind for existing users.

The Realme 5 is expected to be released by the end of this month. It will have a slightly larger screen size in the form of a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS screen, with Gorilla Glass 3+ protection.

Bigger in size, and better in performance. The Realme 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 655 chipset paired with a fast Kryo Octa-core processor, decent graphics and either 3GB or 4GB RAM. More than enough to run all your daily apps and occasional gaming.

Perhaps the best part of all about the Realme 5 is on its quad-camera setup. The 12MP+8MP+2MP+2MP is something you don’t usually find for a smartphone at this price range. Then there’s the 13MP selfie camera that will cater to all your selfies.

Storage-wise, there are three options for you to choose from 32GB, 64GB or 128GB. Should you need more space, the microSD expansion slot can quickly add up to a maximum of 256GB of additional space.

The Realme 5 is equipped with a huge 5000 mAh battery which should allow for a day or two of battery life to support your active lifestyle.

Conclusion:

If you are looking for a budget smartphone with great camera capabilities, then look no further than Realme 5. It comes with large screen size, good performance and a huge battery. The only downside to it all is on its High Definition resolution

Realme 5 will be released on August 27th with a price tag that starts from 9999 Indian Rupee or ~139 USD. You get to choose two colours, Crystal Purple or Crystal Blue.
