skymid is a web based online hosted property management system. in addition to property management system, it is having inbuilt voip ip pabx. Hotels can use hosted pabx service from skymid so that pabx features like guest name delivery, add to bill features are automatically available.
In addition to that skymid wifi service is integrated with online property management system so that guest browser is redirected to hotels wifi portal. It authenticates guests with room numbers and reservation information such as guest identity card number, Guest is allowed to select the wifi package and selected package will be added to guest bill at the guest checkout.
Hotel pms is consisting of rich features with different interfaces to different roles within the hotel. Following list will explain interfaces briefly.
Hotel Administrator - this is role is allowed to enter hotels information, creating room types, rooms and change rate informaton. in addition to that all the onetime settings like defining telephone rates and wifi package information are example activities that hotel administrator can perform.
Hotel Frontdesk - hotel front desk interface is for front desk operator for handling day today operational activities such as checkins, checkouts etc.
Hotel Director - Hotel director interface is targeted towards owner or top executives of the hotel where advanced reporting such as revenue, room utilization are available.
