Spreading awareness of Sanatan Dharam and empowering people

Shamit Khemka, a founder and social worker, has never ever missed an opportunity to support social causes. Apart from his many contributions towards Shashwat Bharatam (an initiative) and Eternal Hindu Foundation (led by Shri K.N. Govindacharya ji), he is a strong follower of Sanatan Dharam. He constantly supports the vision of the foundation - "Aims to promote Sanatan Dharam without any intention to hurt the sentiments of any other religion." Further, he continues to attend various social events that are noble opportunities to uplift the society and the people in need.

Shashwat Bharatam Meeting

In the wake of discussing the future plans to spread Sanatan Dharam, a meeting was conducted recently. The meeting was attended by various delegates associated with  Shashwat Bharatam and Eternal Hindu Foundation.

The agenda of the meeting was to discuss the future plans of spreading the vision of the initiative among the millions of Hindus and seek ways to use social media effectively for the same. The meeting saw various intellectuals -  Vedveer Arya (author of "The chronology of Ancient India: Victim of Concoctions and Distortions"), Sanjay Sharma (National Coordinator at Eternal Hindu Foundation), Basavaraja Patil, Vishal Dutt, Jai Dral, and Suryakant Kelkar (Convenor, Bharat Raksha Manch) as attendees.

The meeting, with so many professionals as attendees, turned into a discussion zone that resulted in a plethora of ideas being exchanged. Shri Vedveer Arya spoke on the importance of the Vedic era and the astronomical discoveries from ancient India.

He also shared his concern on the decreasing knowledge, among people, regarding the ancient cultural heritage of India. He also talked about how the people outside India are taking a keen interest in learning our languages (such as Sanskrit) and then translating them into their own languages.

Taking the discussion further, the talk was steered to a whole new level with a presentation by Shri Sanjay Sharma. He spoke about the vision of the foundation and how social media channels can be used to gain better outreach.

Moreover, he highlighted the ways to use digital platforms so that the young generation can also be educated with the teachings of the Sanatan Dharam. Speaking on how to offer support to people in need and uplift them with various skills, many other methods were taken into consideration.

Prominent ones included the identification of temples from all over the country so that various teaching activities can be carried out. According to Shri Sanjay Sharma, "The idea is to turn these Bhakti Kendras into more useful places by having the people from various professional backgrounds as Sevaks.

Also, the place would be a perfect area for the Indian housewives to make a better use of time by sharing the skills in teaching and empowering all those in need."

Overall, the meeting was a success in planning the steps to be taken in future so that the vision of the foundation reaches to maximum people around the country. It was also planned that various events will be conducted to spread awareness and educate people.

With an aim to reach the deeper roots of India (at the Gram Panchayat level), it was also decided that efforts will be made to train everyone with respect to various digital and social media platforms.
